I would definately send the whole thing back. The blades being chewed up and the broken parts says that someone was trying to fly it and couldn't. Then got mad and sent it back. There should have been a note in there saying "I'm too stupid to learn how to fly!"

I wish all retailers and LHS acted like this to the customers. To be honest, when i started to read throught the thread, I was not expecting HD to actually replace the heli, but their customer service seems to be top notch. And convincing us that you are not a liar is a Bonus

Sounds like a situation I had years ago where I bought a new weedeater from Home Depot, got it home and opened it to find a beat up one in there.

Someone had bought one, put their old one in it, then took it back for a refund. The drone at the customer service counter didnt bother to check it.

Had to go way up the ladder, above the store manager level, to get a new one. At least HH is doing you right.

I know of someone who bought a PS3 as a present and when they opened it at home someone had switched the PS3 out for a jug of laundry detergent. Best Buy wouldn't take it back. They went way up the ladder and had no luck and BB just couldn't find any surveillance footage of tampering or that PS3 being returned. This was when they first came out so it was full price they lost.
