Default MKS ds92a+

Ok, on the MKS DS92A+, I checked the specs, they weigh 17.8g vs the stock align 415m servos at 13.9 g. That is not a train smash, and if you shorten the servo wires you can drop this a bit. Are they easy to install and do the lingages etc all fit nicely with no mods? My stock align servos have a real bad lot of slop and are on their second gear change already, I am thinking of getting something better. Not a lot of choices available locally, but a LHS shop does stock these MKS servos. And I already have the king of tail servos on my 250, the MKS ds95i.

Well you have to run the balls on the inside like the stock servos and they are very very close but they work. You also have to use the longer swash plate balls on the 2 fronts in the swash plate otherwise the linkages hit the servo. The 450L is setup this way. That's it. I wasn't concerned with weight. Mine is heavy at 370 grams but it flys great. I've got 36 flights on it so far. Now that it's dependable and predictable I'm starting to think about PM parts.
