Default Twitchy servo - video

Servo has started acting up, sort of a fluttering. It is worst when I first initialize, but then it settles down a little. I can see that it is the servo, but the movement is magnified at the end of the blade, see if you can see it. Any idea, or is it toast?

That just looks like a dirty servo to me. All you have to do is take it apart and clean the strip and wiper with IPA.

Cool, thanks. I've seen links describing that in the stickies, I'll give it a shot.

Yeah, mine was behaving the same way (well a little worse) and it was just dirty... I would have not thought cleaning would make that big of a difference, but it does...

Check out my thread/video - https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=410306... cleaning fixed my issue completely...

I just finished... Damn those screws are tiny. I flew one battery in the kitchen, seems to be working well now, so I guess that solves it. Thanks guys!

So... How often do you usually need to do this?

No set amount of time. Just when you see it jitter.
