I'm contemplating updating my charging station and I'm going to purchase the 4010duo and I want to see what you guys use/recommend. I see a 48v Ps would work and I've modded many server Ps for portable use but do not want that in my bench station for the noise aspect.
At 48v would I need the amp/wattage rating as high as I have now for my 24v setup?

I am running 3 x Dell server power supply 700W 57.3A for a total of 36V for my 4010 Duo.
I have modded them to run quietly, they only ramp up when I am pulling a lot of current.

For rare home I have the 24v/47A PSU from www.feathermerchantrc.com (excellent power supplies) but mostly dual deep cycles at the field out of my truck.

I charge 6 x 6s 5000mah per side so a total of 12 x 6s 5000mah at 1C. Each side is pulling 30A, I could go more but no need for it. While doing that, the charger is pulling just over 48A from the power supplies.

If you look at this link it shows you what resistor / jumpers to connect in order to allow the power supplies to run silently. Like i said before they only rump up with load and will rump down as the load goes down.
