For 999 that is the whole airframe with tt right? And damn 749 to 999??? Better have blades.

Where is the list for the tt upgrade for those of us who already have e7s?

The $999 usually just means there is no price yet for it. My guess is that they have to put in a price due to the setup of the website. If they put a more realistic price or a crazy low price, customers would try to hold them to that. So it's basically just a place holder. It's commonly done on several different sites.

Default Torque tube conversion kit

I am sorry for the confusion on the FBL Rotor Web site. The E6/E7 torque tube conversion kit will be available soon and will be announced on the web site when all the dealers have been notified . I assure you it will be soon.

The price reflected on the web site is only for the purpose to say it is not at zero cost. As soon as Synergy announces this number, we will put the actual selling price down.

At this point all the the dealers want to take care of you, so please hang in there.

Thanks for your understanding.

The $999 version comes with a free helicopter.

I know it took a lot to design the new drive system, but adding another $200 to the $775 you already paid for the heli?

FBL Rotors lists the same price.

I guess we'll have to see what E7 kits that come with the TT are going to be worth "when" they come out. I sure wouldn't pay $975 for the E7 with TT at this point.

I think selling the E6 with belt, and E7 with TT is the only way these heli's are going to stay competitve in this flooding 700 size market.

I am sure it is the right price. Keep in mind. This isn't just a new boom and a tt. You have a whole new boom block in the front. A new drive gear for the main shaft. A whole new CNC aluminum tail box and beefy mod 1.25 gears all around. It's a lot of parts.

The new e7 kits that come with the Tt won't be 200 more because they won't have the cost of the old parts.

I don't mind $200, like cdsexton said there are a lot of parts in the conversion kit. Just look at all of the gears, they are beefy as heck, and the tail box is a work of art by its self.

I cannot wait to fit the TT, its going to change this machine all together!

E7 TT Kit will not be $975.00. Belt parts would obviously be removed from the E6/7 kit allowing for a competitive price.

The E6/7 TT Conversion Kit is a bargain at $199.00. Dealers and distributors will not be happy because I had to remove all of the margin in order to keep you, the customer, happy with the final price. Below is what comes in the TT Conversion kit, it's essentially an entirely new front and rear transmission. The below parts comprise more than 1/3 of the entire helicopter which if you divide $775.00 / 3 = $260.00.
This figure does not even factor in the fact that a TT Kit has many more expensive parts than a belt drive kit. Take for example most of your "Helical Gear" TT Kits today are around 900.00 / 3 = $300.00

TT Conversion Parts list -
CF Vert Fin - TT E7 1pce (yes, this conversion requires a new CF vert fin)
18T Front Trans Bevel Gear 1pce (machined delrin gear)

The ends are pinned and do not rely upon glue.

Every TT System has two "ends" in order to couple with the input and output side. I haven't seen a manufacturer rely solely upon glue since the Hyperformance Drive.

Thanks,

Matt
