Default DX9 Black Edition backlight flickering-refreshing when below 100%

I got myself a brend new DX9 black edition and one thing I immediately noticed is, when the backlight is set below 100%, the light starts to flicker (it has a low refresh rate) and it's very annoying.
I usualy set the backlight to 60%, but in this case I can't.
I made a video and compare the DX9 backlight with the DX6 backlight. No flickering on the DX6.

Is anybody else experiencing this issue?

Here is the video (in reality, the flickering-refresh rate is a bit more noticeable):

You made me look.

My DX9 (common version, not the Black) does the same thing. Never noticed it because I always run the display at 100% and I use it in bright or well-lit conditions. I had to take the DX9 to a dark room in order to see this effect, but I did and it's definitely there. It's like a very slow refresh wipe when you watch a video recording of a television screen.

OK, thanks.
So it's not just my DX9.

Wonder why there is no such effect on the DX6.

On my Dx7 when the brightness is at 30% or lower, you can see a line pass vertically through the screen, like the refresh rate is not very fast. This goes away with increasing brightness and you can't see it at all at 100%. So technically it is not "flickering" in my case and not sure if it is the same problem as your Tx.

Did enybody else checked for this issue.
I wonder if i should send it back since my DX6 doesn't have this issue and so I assume that not all DX9's have it.

I looked at mine and yes it kind of does something like that at lower brightness levels. It seems pretty minor to me.Im sure not going to send it in for service. Its not like Im watching HD video on it. It doesnt effect the function or my flying.

I forgot to add that you can make it a bit better by playing with the 2 Contrast settings. When you powerup into Raw Input by holding Clear and Back when switching On there is a number in the lower right corner of screen. This is the base Contrast. Adjust with Roller then Click Roller to Exit. To me its also not even noticable until Im not looking at it square from the front. From a side angle its more noticable.
