Kinda sucks. I already have 2 Quarks, but I paid much more 6 months ago. Had to take it off the 500 due to tail wag. Solid as a rock on my 450. The 500 is better now after going to TT. I'm about to put it back on and see how it acts.

With FBL becoming so popular, I think the price of stand alone gyros will fall fast, until they are no longer available. Right now, it is great for us FB guys, but I think soon the stand alone gyro will be a thing of the past. I hope not as I still prefer FB helicopters, especially after having the chance to fly someone else's FBL Trex 550.
I didn't care for it at all. It pretty much seemed to fly itself with no help from me. I actually got bored about 2 mins into the flight and set it back down. It was kinda like handing a 'point and shoot' camera to an avid photographer.

FB won't go away. Thre is a preference for both and the FB heli will be more of an entry level due to cost. As you can see by this post it is coming more of a reality.

I've maidened a T-Rex 500E combo this week but after just 6 flights coudn't get rid of tail wag (gp 780 mounted on top of boom box and DX8) and for this price I'll try a Quark and sell my GP 780.
