Default 550 v2 vs 550 dfc

maybe a stupid question, but i have many god deals on the 550 v2.
But the problem is that i like to have the last on the marked, but is it worth to pay alot more for the DFC version?

and what is if buy the v2 is the parts for the heli going to stop making?
what is the biggest diffrence on the dfc and the v2? just the head?

regards marius

Head, main shaft, ESC in V2 is a 70A in DFC is a 90A Castle Talon. The rest is the same.

Also has DFC swash, newer tail pitch slider, 2mm frames, newer 615/655 servos and is stretched with a 600 boom.

one of the problems of the comparison is that there were several iterations of the v2 - early versions which did not have helical gears or the newer grips...so you need to get into specifics to make a good comparsion. personally, being familiar with both I don't think the DFC has that much in common with the regular V2 kits - they share the basic frame size but the dfc is thicker and stiffer, the dfc has improved electrionics, better construction, the dfc is larger heli with better mechanics for the head and tail..

that's a good price but i know what we pay for the kit and there's enough there to make it worthwhile to give your lhs a shot before going on line. not sure about shipping to norway though.....
