Default How are you running your batteries on 700?

As I'm going to run 14S on my new 700KSE, and true factory built stick packs are limited, I'm wondering I should make my own using my two 4500mah 7S Pulse packs? This is my first multipack setup, so not sure if I should run dual connectors (RC Pro plus D5 in my case) on the ESC, or if I should wire the packs as to only use a single D5 out the ESC.

How are most of you running your Goblin 700 batteries? Looks fairly straight forward to extend the battery leads on rear lipo and make my own stick packs, but still curious how most are doing it.

Thanks!

I extend the leads and balance from the back pack to the front and then shrink wrap around it all.

I use these extensions fro the back packs.

I use 2x6s.. sticks.. and the leads all come out the front. Slide it in.. and hook up to ESC this way. I've made some and bought some.. all are the same.. 2x6s packs shrunk together.

Thanks guys, grabbed some extra wire/balance extensions and will make up my own sticks. 4" heat shrink large enough for 7S 4500-5000mah packs? Can't seem to find 5", but plenty of 4".

Try ebay? I found 20' of 5" shrink once for cheap. I shared it with a few locally and have since ran out. I tried the same seller but not luck.

Yeah, found some of your old posts with a link to that particular seller, no dice. Wasn't having luck elsewhere either - though perhaps 4" will work.

4" shrink wrap fits my 7S 4400 packs perfect (Thunder Power 55C and Revolectrix 60C).

BTW, this is where I purchased it from most recently. Good heavy duty stuff from Ralph.

I run single bullet connectors to series the packs on mine, then a single anti spark XT90 to the esc up front. This way I can easily pull the single bullets apart for charging each pack. This way it cuts down on excess wiring. I am now running 14s TP 70c 4400s on my 7.
