Post Saved by CF frame.

G'day all from Down-under. Well the King 300 with carbon fiber frame has saved me from dispare once again. I had forgotten to reset the esc after playing with the settings and the auto cut off was still set. This caused the bird to stop in mid flight at about 30 feet off the ground. It bounced twice and landed on its side... Wow bent the aloy skid set and the flybar but that was all it did. Esc set-up is a pain in the programing. I bought a programe card only to find it won't work for Any of my ESC's at all. What a wast of time they seem to be. (unless you buy the card with the ESC) I love the CF frame for the king and I am trying to find another CF frame to rebuild the King 3 with. The honey bee king 300 still gets the most fly-time of all my birds, even in windy weather it is rock steady. Any suggestions on programe cards would be appreciate. Thanks guys.

What esc's are you running? From what I"ve seen, they are usually brand specific. Haven't seen a "Universal" programmer.

Angry ESC programing

I am running a generic HK esc, no brand on the case. You are right about the universal program cards, they don't work unless you have the right card for the ESC. Plus if you plug the program card into the wrong ESC you can fry it (the card that is) they also only run on 6v not 7.4v like I tried to plug into it... Wow I won't be doing that again in a hurry !!! I think I will stick with the old beep..beep programing of my ESC with the Tx as it is easy enough if you take the time to do it properly, in a quiet room with no distractions.
