Default What rates do you like?
I noticed that skookum gyros seem to have actual degrees/second control rates.. I love that.. easy to make my helis all respond the same.

Curious what rates you all use?

I use 300/600 (cyclic/tail) with 35% expo and my helis feel great!

I find my tail too fast at 600 so use 400. My cyclic I have around 300.

I'm at 260 on the cyclic with no expo, but I found the stock tail settings too fast for my liking. I think I'm around 450 for the tail. I plan on bumping up the cyclic rates next time out.

240/260 with 540 on tail.

20 percent expo on cyclic with 25 percent expo on the tail.

Right now, I'm using 260 Cyclic and 900 on the tail. No expo.

260 cyclic (90 DR). Slowly bumping that up
600 tail (100 DR) but am going to try turning that down a bit

Yes. Though on the 720 tail tab there is a control expo, which another poster referred to. Believe it defaults to 25 which i left at 25.

I have 18 expo in the radio on the rudder and it doesn't feel like the rudder has more expo than cyclic.. Perhaps I just got used to it. Has anyone experimented with this control expo setting ?

Tim, turning your tail dual rates off in TX and lowering the control rates from 600 to say 500 would have the same effect.

I run 400 on tail
