Default Big Thanks to Larry and Helidirect.

I have to share my recent experience with a Heli Kit I purchased from HD. Really long story short...I ordered a Align 550 Pro from Helidirect with 2 day home delivery. HD shipped it out promptly. After almost a week...several days speaking with FEDEX it still didn't arrive, and they didn't really know when it would be. Frankly I was so fed up I didn't even care if I got the kit, told fedex I was going to refuse it and they can send it back. This was no fault of HD, I just lost my patience. Larry offered to overnight me a new kit, I was thinking they wont do that until they get the original kit back...wrong, he was willing to ship me a kit out over night at there expense. Before I could call larry back FEDEX called and asked if I was going to be home that evening. The original kit was finally delivered and HD did not have to over night another one. HD credited me 100% shipping charges. Again, it was no error on HD, but they picked up the slack for FEDEX. It was a new standard of customer service that I hadn't experienced before...constant messages, and phone call from Larry. I will think twice before using FedEx again, but Helidirect gets my business whenever possible. Great job HD and Thank You Larry

I know this thread is old but I Damn sure will keep it alive for these guys..


I ordered a new hobbywing 50 amp v3 speed controller from my warp 360 from HD...I absolutely hate stick programming " most of the time"oso I also ordered an 8 dollar program card that specifically said program card for platinum series escs...I wanted the " program box" but they were out if stock and I didn't want to wait...

As I'm waiting for my order,a few guys here on heli freak told me the card would not work which was weird because the esc is a platinum series esc and the card says for platinum series...oso I called HD , talked to Larry, and he had no idea because he didn't have personal experience with this esc, card, combo...however, before I even received it, he offered" if it didn't work" to both exchange it for me, and comp my shipping and just to let him know after I try it.. .

Well it came, didn't work, but guess what, just in case it didn't,I had ordered the box the next day after speaking with Larry just to have it...with the level of customer service these guys offer, and the 110% product support,I would eat both the 9 dollar card, and shipping charges any day of the week...

Called back to let them know it didn't work and talked to Jamie, who was also super, super courteous and so very polite and filled him in and he asked me if I wanted to exchange,I assured him I already had the box and thanked him for all they do, he said he would note it to Larry and update the website to show it was not compatible

I'm telling you, even on small things, these guys have a level of customer service that goes up to and far beyond allot of retailers and shops when it comes to they're customers and products and they will
stand behind customers until they are happy and satisfied" to an extent " ...HD will get my service whenever possible and are an absolute pleasure to deal with on every transaction I've made with them.

WAY TO GO HD AND keep up the awesome work, it speaks volumes for your business
