Default Bad Main Gear set?

I stripped the main gear on my 600, and needed to order a new set of main gears. I got part number H60019AT (Ron Lund's website says to drop the 'T', so I guess that means that it is the same as H60019A.) The problem is that the gear is just slightly too small for the one way hub. I have a 1st generation hub, and I just bought a 3rd generation hub, and both have the same problem.

Is this a compatibility issue, or did I get a bad set of main gears?

That's odd? Not sure? I quit running stock gears however on my own Esp years ago. The KDE mod 1 (especially) or .07 versions are just iron tough and run concentrically. Meaning, no wobble and no large gap on one side and tight gap on the other. One, my mod 1, has been through several nasty crashes including a prolonged chicken dance a few years back when I had a serious tx issue going on. Still flies great today.

Do you have this main gear?

If you do have that gear, I think you are dealing with old part numbers and different parts. These are the updated part numbers and they only go together. They are MUST HAVEs as Align puts it.

Thank you! That's exactly what I was looking for. I did get another set of the H60019A, which I was able to squeeze on, but it's still really tight.

Thing is, even if the H60019AA must be used with the new hub, the H60019A should have fit on my old hub, shouldn't it?

I never had that main gear case. Couldn't say for sure. You could ask the guys are AlignTrexStore.. they are pretty knowledgeable and work basically across the street from Align USA.

I spun up the blades partway to listen for a warble I've been getting, and when I was done, I flicked into IU. Instead of the soft start I was expecting, it went to full speed, and stripped the main gear.

It's not so bad. I'm learning more about what the heli is capable of, and not capable of. It didn't crash, so it didn't cost several hundred dollars to repair.
