No sir, Thailand is the place

Well, I tried 2 Tsubaki bearings, yes, its better, but sorry, its not the perfect solution, they slip too, took 1000 watts more of power than stock (in any form, have renovated the stock in about 7 different ways)

I going to fly one of them and see if it gets better or not.
Its the bearing itself that slips, not the bearing in the outer housing.

I'm at my wits end here soon, I'm actually considering welding it shut and take the hit when I need to do an auto to fly this damn thing.

Yup, e90

I wonder if its the limit for those bearings... Kasama's new e machine must suffer from same thing if so.

I'm still below 6000watts, its much, but considering other 90 e helis push 2.5kw more....
I going to get some more flights to see if it magically gets better.

Makes you wonder how long the stock bearing in the e90's will last.Half a flight?

Has anyone had one slip on their e90 yet?

Are the Trex 700E's using a larger diameter hub with a larger one-way? I have not heard reports of the 700E slipping.

Hey MrMel, I have an idea. The MinAir Stratus uses a 10mm main shaft as does the e-Aurora. Rrather than welding the Tsubaki bearing shut, how about trying to figure some way to get the MinAir Sprag/hub into the Aurora main gear?

Don't give up yet. My Tsubaki flew great for the first 10 or so flights, then I would get the "chirp" (not a slip though). It has since settled down and not chirped again. Only time will tell

You're getting slippage only during high collective maneuvers like tic-tocs, or does it happen during all phases of flying?

I have found the best way to test if a sprag is slipping is to fly an elevator slapper. Half piro transitions also can show up any slippage. I have never had it slip during tic toc's.

me and my buddy installed the tsubaki ones long time ago and never had them slip
he has an electric and i have a a nitro

i've also read several posts from people that also never had any more problems after they installed the tsubaki

the kazama 90 uses the tsubaki and they don't have a problem with it either

Yet i installed two yesterday and both slipped.
Its a question of flying style and power used.
Both tsubaki slipped at same powerlevel, so i guess i found the max.

i guess if everyone hasn't had a problem with the tsubakis and so far the only ever report of them slipping here or in the kasama ones is this case i wouldn't worry too much about it
