You know you're a helifreak when it's 7 degree's fahrenheit out and you have 4 batteries charged heading to work with your bird in the trunk to look forward to flying all four on your lunch hour. (hoping it warms up to 10-15 degrees!) (and no, i'm taking it in with me, not leaving it in the car to freeze. hehe)

... When your 10-months old son still doesn't say mom or dad, but answers a "phhhhhhhh!" when asked what sound does an helicopter make or when he sees one of my models...
And when he learned to walk two weeks LATER than he succesfully took off a toy IR FP coax twister :-)

When your sim is not even up and running yet, you are still deciding which chopper you want, but yet you've already spent 14 hours a day, for three weeks, reading this forum !

Default You know it

When you attempt to balance the chopping blades on your wife's Cuisanart because of a slight out of balance vibration.

I'm not going to say or give any hints as to who said this, but from an obvious standpoint, you MIGHT BE A HELIFREAK WHEN....

"Merry Christmas you guys! Now I can show my 450 Pro to my fiance that I've been hiding from her for about 2 months now! Gonna show it to her tomorrow and tell her that my dad sent me this heli as a Christmas gift! It's really hard to keep this heli secret from her, been in my garage the whole time. hahaha"

Yep..gotta agree with that... and You're a heli-feak when you check in here on Christmas day to see what the latest is...

I asked if I could buy a 4 blade head for my second heli I'm scaling... was told "Sure, If you WANT!"

Which means..."If you want to sleep alone, if you want to do your own washing and if you want to.....!!!"

Yep...the rotor head order is being proccessed.... Yep it's gonna
Cheers
Matt

When your friends are calling you to come out on New Years Eve but you turn them all down because you'd rather build your new helicopter ... even the wife didn't see me all night ...

Thanks guys! Happy New Year!

LOL! That's just the airframe ... and things went fairly quick because I've got experience building helis.

I still have to port the engine, install the engine, install the servos, and install the rest of the electronics, then setup the swash... I have looooooots of work left.

Gotta say, out of all my helis, this one I'm the most excited to get into the air.
