It works great, yeah the responsiveness will stop the tail on a dime and give you change. I have to watch out for stripping the belt

That Heli now has a 3500G servo on the tail, way better than the 290G in the PIX, the 290 will probably make its way to the 250se later for a trial.

no worries, never had a strike at the gyro, if anything was near the support mount point and I don't usually have loose blades either. If I get something that close I have bigger worries like a rekit most likely.

fast400, your v2 looks nice. Well done !!

Did you had any issues fitting this sport canopy,
or you just drilled the mounting holes to the proper place?

the white tarot sport v3 canopy was pre-drilled, i just installed it. the fit was no problem.
the painted canopy was not pre-drilled, so i just put it on and marked where i thought the mounts would/should be. the painted canopy fits alittle loose, but not enough to cause any vib`s.

and thank you on you`r comment.

the first pic is the align v2 with the tarot sport v3 canopy, the second pic is the EXI v2 with the sport v3 painted canopy.

forgot to mention,
only thing left align on the align v2 is the frame, boom block and boom, the rest is all tarot.
i have the tarot cnc v3 pro and sport heads on all three heli`s.
i have the tarot touch bearing blocks in all three heli`s.
i have the tarot sport v3 tail on the EXI v2, the black king tail on the EXI Le, and the EXI cnc tail on the align v2. this tail although better than align, will be changed out for the tarot sport v3 tail soon.
anything and everything that needs to be quality is now tarot on all three helis.

Where's the heli(s) ? All I see is an M series Beemer engine. Very Nice!

I've had this heli for almost a year and still haven't got it in the air. Work got in the way for a while, so I'm just now finishing the build. Just waiting on a few odds and ends from ReadyHeli and then for a DX8. I'm a little worried about ESD so I grounded the tail boom to the negative battery lead. I'm still considering grounding the tail gearbox, but it's going to take a little creativity considering all of the anodized pieces are nonconductive unless the finish is removed.

looks good. just one thing, it might be a bit nose heavy with the ESC ( Jazz ??) under the battery tray. I have it on the side frame near the motor on the opposite side of the tail servo to get the balance right. It is much safer spot as well in case of a nose-into-the-ground crash....
good luck with flying..

Hi Snjbird, I'm no expert in 3D, just green, but able to do minor flips on the sim, just wonder how do U do ur stick to make the heli go back/forth in a fast action, not forward flight, I mean when the heli is almost standing up, nose pointing up... if U dont mind to share the info. Thanks !!!!!!!

The tic toc, it is kind of a mix of cyclic vs collective, your using the cyclic to set the angle and the collective to move it and stop it.

Thanks Bob, I'm starting to get a hang of her, very different to the old V1 she used to be, and much slower than the Pro.
