As Badfrog points out in the post below, I am redacting my commentary.

Wow battery king... Lots of "I heard" hearsay and opinion with little fact... As my dad has often said about opinions... They are like a$$***es... Everyone has one and they are all different.
Facts:
I nor you are a moderator on this forum and really have no place spewing "facts" or opinions about the future plans of either the club or HeliFreak. IF You WERE a moderator, I would think you would have the common sense and respect to bring up "facts" and issues in private with those that are in a decision making capacity...
Of course this is just my opinion-I could be wrong...

Regarding the limited space, there was a whole other flight line on the west that was unused most of the time.

Experience is something you gain only after you need it.
I wouldn't mind social media so much if it didn't involve people.

The issue has NOTHING to do with flying or helicopters at all, it has EVERYTHING to do with the actions between 2 and 4 AM of a few people who attended the event when the rest of us were sleeping.

I should have been more clear. OK now please back to pics, vids and fun event talk.

Actually it was pretty well utilized, I ran a BUNCH of people to that flight line and back with our 6 passenger cart. The problem is that as the event gets even larger, we are going to have to find a place where there are more flight stations. The distance between the two flight lines at Palomar is great enough that without a ride, a lot of people were not interested in walking there. Also, by Saturday there were people pitting over there as well who flew over there all the time.

Default HeliFreak Fun Fly Snap Shots

Hey guys,

Here are a few more images of the event. I've taken lots of photos but just put this together. A bigger file will be available with coverage of the entire flight line. Well I know you all had fun, as I watched lots of pilots with smiles on there faces throughout the event.

HeliFreak Fun Fly 2013 will be another event not to miss.

Here is the video

Best Regards,
Jeff Fassbinder

Default Event shirts left over

I want to thank everybody who made the effort to come out and make this the largest event that the Palomar Flyers have ever had!You guys made it rock! I still have a few event shirts, 4 mediums, 26 XLs, 15 2XLs. I'll let them go for cost $8 and I've found that it takes another $6 to send one thru the mail. If you'd like one PM me and we'll make arrangements for you to get one.
