Blink182 - love the designs.

For old guys like me with really old eyes (and a small model), would you consider a paint scheme that would show up better (thinking about the dark wind screen)?

I really like the look of this heli. I am currently flying a 6s 450 pro v2. I will be first in line to get a kit to switch my electronics over to.

A few comments on the design.

The head design looks amazing.

The canopy would be better with a longer wrap around side profile similar to a 6hv or 600pro E. A 6S 450 gets small fast!

The tail bell crank design looks very much like the 450 pro. It is one of the weak points of the design. The leverage on one side is sloppy and puts resistance on the spinning tail shaft. A lighter version of the tail control on the g5 450 would be ideal.

I would also prefer a driven tail, even if only an optioal aftermarket part.

Some other landing gear styles would be great too. Mybe you could do some sketches and have a poll to see what gets produced.

Looking forward to a new 450! Great work!!!

I've far more real pictures of the WAPR 360. The good news is - all parts are ready and toyfair is save. Bad news - I couldn't fly it yet

Greetings

Believe the tab is for canopy mount and the pack straps up against the cross members, I think I remember reading it somewhere in this thread.

I am curious why the assumption is made that the tail is not driven during an auto. Is the main shaft not directly connected to the bottom gear? Isn't there a OWB in the gear that is driven by the motor? Maybe I missed something somewhere.

EDIT... just noticed the post by Sebastian. Now I am even more confused. Does it have two OWBs? How does the motor not spin during an auto if the bottom gear has a OWB in it?

Looks great. What's the CF thickness? It looks like 1mm?

It's a 450 sized heli! Just don't auto with it. Practice autos with your bigger helis. No 450 should be auto'd unless it's emergency and with no OWB it should auto 'good enough' to not be a full blown crash.

I only auto my 450s from a few feet to land anyway.

Nice.
What size servos does it take?

P.S. Slot the motor mount holes for easy meshing please

No offense bro, but that's not really an answer to Ivan's question. A lot of folks do auto 450's.

This helicopter will do auto better than any other 450 with driven tail. No belt or gear need to turn during the auto. So who ever really like normal auto with a small chopper - the WARP will be a good choice for him, because he will have far more energy.

The WARP will have more energy then any other heli in its class during and auto because it has two OWB(I think). That means only the main shaft, rotor head, and main blades will be spinning. The belt to the tail and motor will not spin. You will still be able to auto but just not do anything flashy at the end. The tail will still follow the way the heli goes due to the wind vane effect. Stop complaining. If you don't like it don't buy it.
