Well I ordered the 8mm but got the 6mm. Thing looks sick though. Not worth sending back for the 8mm shaft though, guess I'll just run the support bearing still.

I was opening the package on my bench and was struck by how frickin' big the new motor looked compared to my X3, so I included it in the pics

Going in my 7HV along with moving up to Rail 716's from my trusty 696's!
I know there will be power to spare with this guy.

First two flights today. Great motor, didn't do bad for being well under the bog limit on the governor but she does run pretty hot. I was running 18 ° timing on the yge since that's what they count as low for outrunners but I'm trying 12° on next flight. Esc ran cool as could be though. Only one major problem with this motor. ..... the poor 750mx in my trex 700 is having some serious can envy. Will have to do something about that.
