Default Looking for Beta Tester for S.Bus Compatible Software

Anybody out there interested being our beta tester for S.Bus compatible Jeti software?
We just received update for R3, the UDI is substituted by S.Bus.
Update is 99.9% tested but we need more people, who wants to play with it?

Please email me directly to zb@espritmodel.com

Hey Zb,

do you have some info what Jeti's plans are with UDI and/S.Bus ?
The firmware seems to work only on the R3 which is an US exclusive and I can not extract any info from the people in the EU about it.
Personally I would love to see a 100% implementation of S.Bus , makes everything much easier imho.

I would be up to the task if the BD3SX gyro can use Sbus. All my birds use BD. Currently on PPM now.

Great to hear about the Sbus by jeti
I have been waiting for past 2 years for Jeti to put up a software or firmware upgrade for its full range of receivers to take Sbus.
I have zerouav multicoptes for aerial work,
and they use only sbus
so although i am using a Sbus converter
i hate to have another gadget in between the communication chain.
So would be great.
even if Jeti comes with Sbus on the Rx... good enough, i can safe the 14, 16 and 18 ch Jeti Rx for other work

Happy landings

Any advantage of S.BUS over UDI? They both seem to transmit 11-bit values at 100k baud, so it doesn't seem that there is a latency or precision difference between the two.

If my FBL unit supports both is there any reason to use one over the other?

I'd say that the advantage is sBus is supported in more applications than UDI. If yours supports both, flip a coin.

I would like to test it. I have 3 helicopters all equipped with full size VBar's. 2 X7 that I use for F3N training competition and 1 Goblin 500 that I use because I can. I will like to help you out because I think that Jeti will be more attractive to more people with the X-Bus system available. I use the DS 16.
Write to me if any interrest

I still think only the FW for the R3 which is not available here in Denmark is available from Esprit.
Or did that change ?

Hi Esprit,

I don't suppose that extends to the RSAT2 as well?
