Default futaba 10j question

okay so im getting ready to pull the trigger on getting the 10j. i currently fly that "other" 8ch radio. ive being considering to go to futaba but dont want to dump a ton of money on the 14sg to be baffled or confused. so that being said and a budget in mind is the 10j a good entry level futaba radio and do you guys have any pointers for me?

I've had 5 or 6 different radios and the 10j is my favorite. There are a couple of minor issues that could get worked out with a firmware update but very minor in the grand scheme of things. Programming is easy once you get used to it. But for me the best part is how it feels in my hands. Not too heavy but not a toy feeling either.

Basically the voice could use a touch up. Having the voice activate by alarm condition would be great and voice for switching flight conditions. I can live with it.

A bonus is the sbus2 telemetry and no need to buy an extra telemetry module.

I just ordered a T10J today with an extra 3000SB reciever. I fly the dx8 now and making the transition over to Futaba. I've read great things about the T10J, so Im very eager to get this a shot. I too fly a 700 and a 550 class heli. How do you like it so far?

I thought that too but then needed something to fly my micro bnf planes and heli's, and an ar7200bx or 2. So I went out and picked up a new dx6. I like it almost as much as the 10j. Almost.... seriously hope we get a firmware update for the 10j so the voice only kicks in when an alarm goes off. Every switch is used on my gas heli so I can't turn the voice on and off.
