Default Esc fitment

What ESCs fit under the front tray, for carbine frames. Talon 90, yge 90lv HW 100a v3, are the ones I'm looking at. Do any of these fit? A any other options? Must have govenor, preferably rpm out cable and good bec. Thanks for any help. Don't have time to research I burnt my brothers esc out. I need to order him one asap.

Not sure if any of those will fit. I have a YEP80 and it's just millimeters too wide so it got mounted in the belly of the beast.

You have 30mm width to work with.

Also wanted to mention the HW60 v4. I've read some guys using the HW50 and it comes down cool. I don't think the 100 would be necessary. If the 60v4 fits I think it has a decent BEC but honestly haven't researched and need to take off for work. Good luck!

The YGE90 fits nicely under the main shaft. I imagine the HW50/60 would too. HW100 I've heard does not or does but is very hard to get in right.

Hey wants it in the nose not in the "belly" under the main shaft. He might not have much of a choice, more options will fit under the main shaft for sure.

Yge 90 is 70x25x11. So that should fit right. Would HW 60v4 be enough amperage.

Thanks what I was saying above. The HW50 has been ran in the P500...stretched or not i do not remember...and they said it was coming down cool. So I'm sure the HW60 is good to go, a number of people I've commented to about HW ESCs have said that they are pretty great for that reason too. I'm no pro on them so do your research...just spreading word of mouth really.

YGE90 is obviously solid but idk about the BEC max amperage.

Thanks for everything. He just bought a box of 4 protos 500 and a crap load of spares. Alot of the head spares are for the old fbl head. I'm trying to make It all current for him. Let thing I wanna get is thrusted tails. I'm gonna make a plastic frame 425 setup and a carbon stretch version.

Was actually something I was unaware of until now. So thanks! I thought the tail was thrusted. I don't believe mine currently is. I'm running Switch 70mm tails.

The HW60A is great in the 500, comes down nice and cool, and the governor is awesome, as is the bec. Great fit for the heli

I'm on 475mm blades. Lots of extra weight for a night rig setup, including blades that are nearly 15gr heavier than standard
