I guess I'm postponing the MCX purchase....not quite the same thing though. I'm curious how different this will be from the Gaui 200.

Then what... after it crashes where do we get parts? Better I wait for the N.American release but only after the bleeding edge crowd have had their say... Meh not into paying good money to be the beta tester.

Default I simply don't get this............

When I got into this hobby, it was a huge challenge simply because I was trying to learn on a smaller, inexpensive machines. I will never forget the first time I went from a Blade CP Pro to a Trex 450. I was shocked and finally realized what this hobby was all about. Then I finally graduated to a Trex 600E and this really changes the way I thought about the hobby. Such stability, such control, such visual presence, I fell in love all over again. The thought of going back to a smaller machine just doesn't interest me in the least. The 450 Trex is the smallest thing I ever want to fly and I don't understand the attraction to smaller machines unless you're just getting into the hobby. But then again, I recall the "Name your occupation" thread and there were certainly plenty of six figure income guys in this hobby with plenty of disposable income and this may tickle their desire to spend, spend, spend!
Respectfully,
Ed

I have a limited supply of disposable income, really enjoy the bigger helis, and definitely plan on getting a 250.
Does that make me weird?

I fly a Blade Cp and a T-Rex 450, each has different characteristics, and I'm less afraid of crashing my Blade because it's cheaper to fix. Having something different to fly is something that keeps the flying interesting.

IMO, the 250 is not for beginners. It's for accomplished pilots who want something to 3D in the driveway or backyard.

that's EXACTLY what i want it for. the 450 is to big to toss around in the street comfortably. all the parks i fly at, the 500 flies fine. even the 600E in some. my 450 is getting very little stick time now because it doesnt fit a need.

the 250 will fly my cul de sac nightly once i get my grubby mits on one.
