HB V2 FP . No power to the tail -Newbie needs help!

Hi guys, a few days ago I crashed the heli . I noticed that the tail motor cap came off . So I put the cap back on and no power to the tail. So I ordered two new tail motors . I installed a new motor and still no power . What can it be? Please help! Thanks Brin

maybe the tail esc got fryed in the crash.i would unplug the tail motor from the 4in1 and connect the main motor to the tail motors connection,now give it a bit of throttle(keep clear of main blades or remove them) if the main motor dosnt spin the the tail esc is fryed if it dose then you may have a duff tail motor.others will be along shortly with more ideas..me im off to work now

If I have to replace the 4in1 will any 2.4 ghz 4in1 work ? Does it have to be Esky? Thanks

You will need an Esky 4 in 1.


A new 4 in 1 is around $40, a new Esky CP3 3 in 1 is $18. So if your good at tinkering you can do this: https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=220564

You will have to change the wire connector from the CP3 3 in 1 to your stock motor, the one that comes with the CP3 3 in 1 won't fit.

I didn't have to switch motor connectors on mine because I put a CP3 motor on mine at the same time I did the conversion.

This its great advise. Cp3 3in1 is much easier to live with than the stock 4in1. Plus why replace the rx when it ain't broke
