Default No SK-GPS interface setup via UTILITY?

New set up: 370BE + GPS, DX8 and Align 600. PC Interface for setup doesn't drop down from the Utility tab. Is it not available or my software corrupted?

I assume you mean 720be. If it is a first time run it should pop up the wizard. If not you will have to select which wizard you want to run.

What is an SK 370BE? I assume you mean 720BE

Are you running the latest 4.09 desktop software? There should be a "setup GPS" choice under the Utility option

Hmmmm......sounds like maybe something funky going on with your PC settings. Has this ever worked for you, or are you trying to use it for the first time?

Maybe reboot, or even remove and reload the setup software if the issue persist.

Hi Tony:

It was either a typo or a brain fart. Yea, 370BE is correct!

There is no such thing. The number keys on your PC must be installed in the wrong place. Every time you type 720 it comes out 370

Does the software need to be switched from "basic" to "advanced"? or "Run as Administrator"? Dan

OK. Got it. However, the lower part of page 9 in the Connection and Setup Guide shows information quite different than my computer's software. Maybe my version of the Guide is old. What I'm getting shows MODE 1 and MODE 2 from which offers several selections from dropdown menus.

The original GPS had only one switch mode with a total of two GPS choices along with manual mode on a single three way switch.

There has been an additional second switch for a total of 4 GPS modes that can be set now along with some new choices added into the dropdowns, but the setup process within the software is still the same.

You can download the most recent pdf GPS manual here: https://www.helifreak.com/showpost.p...02&postcount=2
