Havn't been on helifreak in quite some time. Glad to see this thread over here. DW has great customer service and quality stuff, Mike is the man.

I just got finished building my first dw foamie, the 48" yak 55m. No maiden yet, I've gotta buy some batteries and a new charger and of course now the weather forecast is crap for a week but oh well, the plane went together fast and looks nice. will snap a few pictures and get them posted up.

Default DW Foamies.

I have been flying a 40' 9MM Extra from the DW Foamies hanger and I love it! I'm no hot shot 3D pilot and I have been flying it with reduced rates as an IMAC Trainer. 1 1/2 years of flying it and the foam holds up just like new. (In fact I tore off the old packing tape stripes and fust retaped it) (Yiola! new model)!. Unlike EPP planes that expand and contract with the weather (constant trim changes) DW Depron does not move! Fantastic flyer.

Note that I also fly a Twisted Hobbies Crack Yak as a cruncher to learn 3D with and it is a great airframe as well. (If I totalled it, I'd buy another as a throwaround). However it will never fly as great as the DW.
