Default Traxxas Emaxx

I guess that I will be the first to post here! I have an older Emaxx 3906 that I got from a friend. This is my first foray into RC trucks. I am considering upgrading the motors to Kershaw Designs Revolver dual 700 kit and was wondering if anyone had any experience with this kit. I will be running two 2S 5000 mah lipos.

I had experience with it.. the experience of shattering every single part on that thing.. hate to say this but I'd recommend selling it and going with something a bit more durable.

I also have a brushless E Revo that seems to be pretty sturdy. I got the E Maxx for practially nothing and was just going to use it as a basher....Was interested in the Kershaw dual 700 motor kit and any experiences with it.

Thanks, Phasor

it is will be cheaper to get one Titan775 from summit with summit pinion. i have single 775 on e revo and it is blast then play with spur gear and get your self novk 5mm 19t pinion and you will have troble to handle the truck in top speed. I had emax before convertedand had troble to handle overpowered car went to revo after this

Default emaxx 3906/3905 parts compatibility

I have ordered a brushless system from hobbycity.com for my 3906 and although the point is for longer run times and a touch more speed over stock i anticipate some damage. is there a compatibility Chart or something to see what parts from the old emaxx fit the new one.

thanks
