That pic is great example of what imo is a positive design feature of the TT head.
It really shows the difference in head/grip design that places the blades further from each other. Therfore fast blad tips.

Here's a few pics of my TTMT that I picked up used on a for sale forum. ( Thanx again RCNITROFREAK ! ) Since I've had it, I've gone through it from top to bottom, and added some parts and paint to make it my own. This is my first CP Heli, and I'm having a blast working on it and learning to fly.

Here are some pics of the same heli as above but with a "V2" paint scheme and some hardware up grades on the head and tail.

All of those align heads made me kind of sad. Heresy, I say! I've been putting some time on my MT now that my 50's piston looks like swiss cheese, and I really can't believe how well the little guy flies bone stock. Here are a couple of pics of my MT and his daddy.

wait until you get some good blades on that thing. Even better.
Stock blades were my only complaint with the stock setup.

I have some align 315 woodies, but I'd rather wait and try a set of radix rather than taint my TT bird with Align parts .

I have radix... Love them, like a whole new bird with them. Stock ones suck the amp off your pack like no other.

Wife is picking me up a new set and other needed parts as I type.

Uh oh. Looks like your flybar might have done a little gardening. Is that a 500TH I see in there? I'm running the ripper and am averaging 20A drains on my pack with stock blades.

450th, I run 4s setup. my fdr usually says 8-9amps average draw with fff, loops, rolls, flips... @ 2700rpm. No real hard stuff. The max amps are usually 20-25amps (500-550watt)
The stock blades were drawing about 20+ percent more amps.

Heli24, How do you like the align paddles on the MT. My lhs was out of stock on the TT ones so I am thinking of throwin those ones you have on for now to get back in the air.

I have a 450DH laying around and thought about trying it, but I figured the power rating was so close that it wouldn't be worth the trouble. I should probably order another pinion and give it a try. I've been wanting to try a 4s setup as well, since a couple of 7.4V packs would be cheaper than alot of 11.V 3s.
