i have crashed mine so many time and never took the whole side off like that before. I just pull all screws from bearing support block and pull the whole thing out. kinda cool to see tho

Probably overzealous, but I'm also transferring everything from a 300X to the 300CFX frame. It also looked easier to take the servos out with the side off, and, I have to put thread locker in all the screws anyways.

Just so you know, you don't need to strip everything down like that to replace the servos. Simply remove the AR7200BX, its shelf, and the eight screws attaching the upper and lower bearing blocks. Lift the blocks/servos up as a unit and replace.

^^^^that's what i do. but yeah if u need to transfer everything y not lock tight every bolt

Got mine ready to roll for probably it's final day of flying. I'm pulling the ikon off to put on my protos 500 that's coming in. I'm going to fly 10 packs and just fly the crapp out of it.

Well I flew the crap out of it on saturday. My buddy said I was looking for a reason to retire it I even got a little courage and trimmed the grass. It was very exciting.

Who knows maybe I'll keep it around.

i crashed again yesterday after work... oh well part of my training. New main gear, tail boom and one servo and should be good again
