Same here. I've got my registration card; if they want to see more than that they can go ##### themselves.

Im going to write my number on a piece of tape and stick it inside the canopy. Don't plan on putting to much effort into it.

Inside the canopy or on the battery is probably the best idea. I don't want someone to see my number, then put it on their craft

Interesting, when we got the "go ahead and register now" email a month ago the attached FAQ said that only AMA number needed to be on the aircraft. Did they change their position?

I used a Brother P-Touch printer and put my FAA numbers on the bottem of each model's boom.

So now, my multi rotor that I use for commercial work has three identifying numbers;

FAA#
AMA#
N# (N82FU)

Since I have an N#, I now must pay property taxes on it.

This is from the AMA FAQs dated Jan 11, which would be one month ago. If there is anything else more updated, I either haven't seen it or I don't remember it.

Q: Do I need to list both my AMA number and my federal registration number on my aircraft?
A: Yes, you need to list both your AMA number and Federal registration number on your aircraft. We are advocating to allow members to use their AMA numbers. We believe an AMA membership already meets the intent of registration, but at this time place both numbers on your aircraft.

Yeah, check the FAA's FAQ on registration requirements and where/how/what you have to display. Until FAA says that the AMA number is sufficient on their own web page, it doesn't matter what the AMA says about it. The AMA isn't the one defining the rules.
