Default Toilet Bowl Effect

Just wondering how prevalent this toilet bowl effect is with various GPS controlled multicopters and what are the possible remedies?? I have the DJI Naza M on F550 hexa and can't seem to be able to get rid of it. Maybe I have a faulty GPS sensor, maybe I need to play with gains to find the sweet spot ???? Input from experienced people regarding this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried turning the Compass a few degrees left/right depending on your areas magnetic declination?

Here in Phoenix it's about +11 but my compass works well straight forward.

No I have not. The magnetic declination in my area is 12deg East. My hexa flies straight with the gps unit pointing straight forward. Where should I turn it to ? Right or left??? Is it different on southern hemisphere??

I turned the GPS unit right just a bit. Well, how do you measure exactly 12 deg, how do you find a reference point for straight forward direction on the flywheel f550 and how do you hold the GPS unit in the exact 12 deg off straight direction and mount it on the double sided tape nicely in the centre of the mounting disc, all at the same time??? I think we would have to agree here that it is a bit of a challenge Anyway, it seems to have done the trick. More testing ahead but I might be on the right track here.....
