Default futaba convert mini blue 5.0 sbus with jive question

I'm converting over to sbus on my logo 6003d with a jive 80 hv

Setup tx , calibrated throws to vabr software , seems good.

Need to calibrate the jive now

Do i leave the default 135 throws ? and do the calibartion with the 100% column

Martin

If you are not using the Vbar Gov. plug the ESC into the S.bus RX (CH3 but on FG,Z and MZ you will need to reallocate channels 3 & 6)

Then simple calibrate the Jive as usual

Also reverse the throttle channel BEFORE you start

You'll probably never need to adjust you channel limits, especially if you are using the VBar. Only adjust the travel portion of EPA and you'll be fine! The endpoints for my Jive 80+ HV are 81/81, yours should be similar.

Thanks , i did manage to get my way thru it.

It didn't work the first few times , once the motor wasn't in gov mode and another the epa's needed to be at 60 to start motor.

Tried again and i got the setup right this time. I'm at 82% , at 81 i get a motor start.

MrMels vids saved the day again.

The only downside to a jive is once you set them up the first time your good to go (just over 200 flights on 6003d) and you forget how to do it.
