Ian - as Will indicated we've taken the comments very seriously and are sorting through some of the glitches caused by the forum subdivisions,.

I don't think people should have to search for their own threads - they should be able to find them in the logical place.

I have moved your Ecureuil AS 350 and Bell 212 threads into Large Scale, which is where they should be. You might not have been able to find your ES350 thread as it didn't have ES350 in the title - was Turbine Ecureuil. - I have added this into the title for the benefit of those who don't know what a Squirrel is

We are shortly going to clarify the nomenclature and fix up some of the glitches in the big restructure - hope this meets with your approval and you see fit to continue with our giant EC 120 build.

I am also going to sticky the builds with over 10000 views which means you probably will have pride of place in the sticky bits

I hope to change the Forum names like John has suggested very soon. Been super busy with family things the last 7 weeks. Sorry for taking so long.

Will

It is better than before. There is still a number of sub-forums to troll through, but at least the break-down of the sub-forums is more descriptive so it should be clearer as to where to find things.

Thanks
Colin

Default Will....

I am just getting into scale birds with my first build. Being a trex 450 A-109 Coast Guard

And I am so excited about it... And I'll tell you this.... This Hobby has been my life for about 30 years now from cars, planes, boats, pod and boom... And now. Scale... I love the challenge... I read on your forum for hours every night cause I am on disability and the heli's keep me going...

I think you are a very talented guy and you have made thousands of people get more into this Hobby and those of us love it even more

And you know what... Your the dang. Boss...
And what ever you think that is gonna work on this Great forum... I trust you to the fullest
Because I couldn't have done some of the stuff I needed with out your website...
And now I know so much more knowledge.

I applaud you Will because. I know this Forum is a full time job and you have a Family..... Great work Brotha.... And God Bless you and your family.... Keep up the good work....

Thank you. I love scale helis and planks... But compared to my favorite Canadian... I'm a lowly accolyte of scale helis.

I haven't been here very often due to my latest project being stalled, but now I'm back I get the feeling that posts are getting buried among the sub-forums. It's always an issue: To post in the "top" level or in a sub-forum. Even over in SRCH's people tend to post in the Main forum rather than in the sub-forum that addresses their particular angle.
I have to say my feeling is that the overall volume of posting here is low enough that we would have been better off to retain a single scale forum.
