Where to mount the 3GX on the 250 Pro

Hi Guys,

I mounted my 3Gx on the gyro tray as this seems like the only place to put it inside the frame. However the servo wires face the motor and the motor spins. I'm concerned that the motor may damage the wires. Where are you mounting your unit if you mounted it inside the frame. Also, what the hell was Align thinking when they gave you a 4" cable to connect the unit to your computer??

LOL, yeah, you'll need a usb extension. The 3GX mounts on the tray with the wires facing the motor. It's tight, but you'll have enough room to route the wires away from the motor. There won't be much clearance, but all you need is a mm or so. As long as it's not touching the motor, you're fine.

Thanks Jimmy. Just finished the build. Hope to test it tomorrow. The stock canopy is really tight though. Using the stock Align battery so that is not the problem. Do you have trouble getting your canopy on?

Yeah the stock canopy is tight. It'll get easier to put on as it wears in a little.

In the same boat here About to start the build...Where can you pick up a usb extension that'll fit the 3gx, have had a hard time finding one...

What I have is a usb female to male extension cable. I basically extends your computer's usb port. I got it from amazon.
