Default Xbus and Pwm ports on the rg731BX

Hi Guys,
I'm just about to set up my new Raptor G4,1 with the Vbar Silverline, the 731BX receiver and a switch glow unit.
And there is an issues
As far I know , it's still not possible to use the xbus mode B and the pwm ports at the same time, it's a pitty because futaba's sbus is capable of that!
And because of this i have to run everything with single cabels if I want to use the switch glo unit and vbar at the same time,
is there a way to get everything working through xbus or do I have to run everything separately through the pwm ports?

I think you should test it and find out. I have seen where it does work I just helped a guy on his 35% plane and he had throttle and ignition coming from the Pwm port and the rest on xbus. I am not sure if mode a or mode b makes a difference or not

Mode B do disable all ports on the RX, only mode A allow that, but VBar and other FBL units need mode B to work. Only way to get extra channels is to use normal RX connections unfortunately.

Actually after reading this again you should be able to do all that through the xbus cable. We do on our trex 700. We have the throttle through the Vbar as we use the Vbar gov and we also use a switch glo. You have an aux 2 channel in the Vbar to use for the switch glo. If you get stuck let me know and we can help you get that going
