Default Question about AR636 flight mode & Dual Rates/Expo

My question is regarding flight mode. I'm used to having AS3X ON/OFF and then three different rates (hi/med/lo).

For the AR636 It looks like I need to set the Dual Rates/Expo, Rate Gain and Heading Gain on to the flight mode switch.

Anyone try keeping the AS3X controlling the Rate Gain/Heading Gain only? then do the Rates/Expo on the transmitter? I'd like to keep them separate instead of on one switch.

Its been some time sence i posted this question. I now have an answer. I was at joe nall this past weekend and had the opportunity to speak with Quique Somenzini and i asked him about the ar636. To make a long story short it is best to set everything in the receiver and not to have dual rates or expo in the radio. Some flight stabilization may be able to do this but you could cause some problems with how the as3x responds your inputs if the radio uses dual rates or expo.
