Default need good servos

i need to buy 3 new servos for my 250 they have to much slop makes it a little hard to level the plate i was looking at the DS416M but i think those might have a little bit of slop still and then i was also looking at the KST DS245S but those leave alot of gap i guess i don't really like that anyone got any suggestions?

I'm flying my FBL HobbyKing 250 with plastic blades, a Mini Kbar controller and Hitec HS65HB ANALOG servos and it flies GREAT. I'm just a sport flyer, but it flies better than any other FBL heli I have flown. Totally smooth, stable and locked in. Very responsive with no observable deadband. Maybe a bit too slow for 3D pilots but those analog servos are plenty fast and precise for sport flying. Sure surprised me.

Lynx are just bringing out a set of 6g servos for the 180CFX which on paper look good for the 250 too, very lightweight and plenty fast enough.

They're due out any time now, but we're still waiting for the Lynx mounting adaptors for the 250.

I installed MKS95 servos in both of mine and think they are perfect for this heli. You can see them in my photos.

I just picked up a set of Mks ds92a+ Cyclics and a ds95i tail for my 250. Didn't get them yet but I think they will be a great match for it.

If you're on a budget I use some cheap-*$$ Emax ES-08MD servos in mine and they work really well considering they're about $5 a servo. They're metal gear with plastic cases. They're a little on the sloppy side, but no worse than any of the other ones in this size.

I also have my SE set up with OMG H1-MR-IM20Q which are the hybrid metal/plastic servos to save weight, but they also have pretty decent specs for the price and gears sets are cheap if you managed to wreck them. They'll drop straight into the SE/Pro frames, but on an older 250 the frames need to be shaved a little bit. Using the medium frame balls on the front servos gets you exactly zero delta on the pitch links.

I replaced my Align servos that were supplied in the kit with OMG servos. Before I had replaced them flying the 250 was like riding a bucking bronco, had to just hold on for dear life and fight the heli. After I replaced the servos with the OMG's it flies great with a lot less problems. Any decent set of servos though should render the same result. Good luck.

Flew 4 packs on my 250 with the Mks 92a's and the 95i last night. Flew great! A totally different heli. What a difference over the align servos.

There seem to be two schools of thought for the 250, either build one up with quality components and accept the weight penalty, or drop as much weight as you can.

Both approaches seem to work, there are a lot of people with heavy 250's that now love the way they fly, and I suspect the weight and upgrades make for a very smooth model that handles the wind well.

I went for the opposite approach and dropped as much weight as I could. Mine is now well under 300g flying weight with stock Align servos. It's perfect for 3D flight and is very smooth and predictable in the air.
