Hi All,

Having had the APS up and running with a great deal of success with the with it's original firmware and 3GX firmware version 2.1 I decided to try updating the firmware of both the units to try out some of the new features.

Unfortunately I can't seem to get the 3GX to initialise properly. I have been through the process of re inputting the 3GX, Rudder Gyro Set Up and the Throttle Range Calibration however the unit still sends the servo's in random directions during start up instead of the reassuring raising and lowering of the head three times.

Is there some other settings that need to be input or am I missing something obvious with the set up process.

Any assistance anyone could give would be greatly appreciated.

Gone back to 2.1 and the 3GX initialises and flies great. Tried reinstalling 3.0 and 3.1 and the 3GX continually tries to intialise showing a fault with all servos 'twiching' like crazy.

Hello:

I just purchased an APS Gyro (used) and seem to have a problem getting the APS to connect to the 3GX unit (I don't get a flashing green light). I upgraded the 3GX with Version 3.1 (it was at 1.1 which won't work with the APS).

I was wondering if you had an issue with the APS connecting with version 3.1 on the 3GX. I may reflash the 3GX with version 2.1 and try it.

I'm wondering if 3.1 has issues like you stated.
