If it's a brushless motor (3 wire motor) and is turning backwards it means that the wires are hooked up wrong. A brushless motor has 3 wires, just swap any 2 of the wires around. Sometimes they are even color coded and marked wrong. It's always perfectly safe to swap brushless motor wires around as all 3 circuits inside the motor are identical, you are just changing the order the circuits are used, thus reversing the motor direction.

If it's a brushed motor (2 wire motor) turning backwards, then just reverse the two wires.

Sorry, I thought you meant the rotor was turning the wrong way.

It sounds like the tail motor is weak. Yours may be worn out, have bad wiring, be the wrong one or possibly one of the MOSFETs on the main board's tail ESC (Electronic Speed Controller) is burnt out (which usually causes a visible burn marks on one of the chips on the board). There are TWO DIFFERENT brushed tail motors for the V912. One brushed motor is for use with the brushed main motor and one is for use with the brushless main motor.

What you describe sound like tail blowout...and there are several causes...

Check the tail rotor...it may be cracked, bent or broken...or spinning on the shaft

Also check for missing teeth on the tail gears.

Default V912 spinning counterclockwise

Thanks for the barber for 40 input with the V912.tried 2 new tail motors with the correct part number, also tried 2 new receiver boards cause that's where the tail motor connects to,and also a new esc.and yet still the same problem.however thinking what was changed since the problem occurred, the original battery went up in smoke,so I replaced it with, the cheap china battery's.bought 6 of them pretty cheap.i did order a new turnily battery waiting for it to arrive to give that a go.the problem dose get worse when the battery gets low,and when it's charge it's not as bad.so will see .i check all that every one has suggested, but it still the same.so for now I'll wait till new battery comes in.sounds crazy but I'm out of ideas. Thanks for ur suggestions,I'll take all the help I can get.
