Thanks. Here's that canopy, http://www.ebay.com/itm/FUC-MCTDR06-...-/141410667548
I don't really recommend it though. That TDR style canopy is wider than the lower canopy pins so I had to add an extension on each of them to hold it in place. It's also very brittle and would not survive more than 1 hard crash. I've since removed it for regular flying, as I don't want to bust it up. It looks very good in the air though.

Those "composite" canopies look sweet, I have one, but they are all crap and I wouldn't suggest anyone ever buy them other than for a shelf queen.. They are basically "paper mache".

Got a new canopy in for my mcpxbl the other day. Fusano. Hopefully I can keep from crashing it, the one I have on my nano cracked pretty quickly.

My "composite" fusano cracked without even crashing it. It was so soft and flexible that it popped off the pegs and went up into the rotor during level flight.
I'd stick with fiberglass or plastic. |

Thats some good looking helis on this page. Are you guys running carbon frames? Cause I dont see boom support. How do you cope with tail wag if you still have it. If you dont, whats the trick?

LOL. Good eye! I scaled my canopy down for NCPX and MCPXv2. Just playing around and felt too lazy to modify the texture map for the different models. Quad piloting since April 2014 - LaTrax Alias, Blade nQX and 350QX, DJI Phantom 2V+. 3D Heli Piloting newbie since August 2014 -nCPX, mCPX, mCPX BL |
