Default Logo 500 - On-board $15- Keychain camera showing 3D

Was made aware of this "keychain" camera on a micro forum and bought it off Ebay for $15- delivered from China.

This is the first flight that I strapped it under my Logo 500 yesterday. The video quality is surprisingly good! (Youtube degraded it a bit, but it's close to what comes out of the camera.)

Location is Carson field. (South of LA in SoCal)

Enjoy!

Amazing for $15 bucks how can you go wrong. The video quality was decent.

Just search 'key chain' or 'spy' camera on Ebay. Just checked and they're now down to $14-!

Also, if you watch the video full-screen it reduces the "sea-sickness!"

WoW, impressive technology.

Just looked on ebay and i see they have ones with built in flash memory and others which use miro-sd cards. I'm wondering which would be better considering the unit would probably be worthless once the internal batt dies.

Peace

Okay, just bought one. My plan is to mount it to my 450 and have a good old time. Velcro plus strap should get it done. The nitro would probably be too much vibration and oiliness for it so it won't go on the Rappy.

I would guess USB. No problem there, with as much time as I spend on the computer.

Just take the key ring off. I doubt it weighs enough to be noticeable. I wouldn't decase it, but that's just me.

Can anyone confirm it charges via usb? Does it have any built in memory or do you have to buy a card for it?

Regards,
Jon

I just bought one for £12.99 delivered. Has built in 8GB memory and supplied usb cable. Is this the same as yours? Im going to wrap it in some foam ( to help the vibrations ) and stick it on the bottom of my Trex 600NP.

the 8gb built in ones seem to have a lower resolution, I would personally just by the one without the memory and stick a cheap 5.00 2gb card in it
