Default Question

My tail is not holding. Just spins on the ground. Some other issues are with increase in throttle really slow the tail slider moves inward, I also haven't been able to access the gyro gain menu. Signs of a bad board?

End of July purchase date. I still couldn't access it after about 4 tries.

Can you take a pic at your tail slider and see if it moves at all with just throttle increase? I don't think its suppose to. If the board is hiccuped I don't want to replace it.

The tailspin is most likely your c and or d gear being stripped. Replace both gears (they come as a set).

In order to access your gyro gain menu you have to be at 100 percent throttle. If you have your radio programmed per manual, you will need to go to st 2 and push you throttle stick all the way up and then plug in your heli. That should put you into gyro gain menu, but I think it is the tail gears that are causing your problem.

FWIW you don't have to have it at full stick, just 100% throttle.

Make sure your throttle curve is at 100%. I put it in idle up 1 to get my 100% as I was only at 75% on normal.

Hope this helps.

OK I was able to access the gyro gain menu. That problems solved, switching to IU worked.

Has/was anyone able to check if their tail slider is moving upon throttle increase?

Thinking of selling this guy. I really want the nCP-x

My pitch slider does not move when i give throttle at least not while on bench
While spooling up it should move to keep heli from spinning around and around i had to move my servo back some on boom for proper adjustment

Thanks guys i had not even thought about going to st1 or 2 to be at 100% wonder if that my issue

I sold it yesterday on RCG.

I'm going to snag a nCPx. Pretty pumped about that.

++1 to stripped C and/or D gears being stripped.

As far as your pitch slider walk, it's too bad you sold already. It sounded like you had a simple sub trim problem. It's a good bird once you get everything dialed in. Check out this thread:

It was a fun flying heli when I flew it months ago (not the one I sold, the LHS model). The nano just fits my fleet needs better at this moment.
