Default Esky Lama V3 Excessive Backwards Flight

Hi,

Left to it's own devices in a hover out of ground effect, my V3 Lama is flying backwards quite strongly, and the tail is rotating slightly to the right - even with maximum elavtor and rudder trim.

The battery is located as far forward as possible.

I noticed when I power on, all trims equal, the left servo (as viewed tail in) doesn't appear to be level with the right servo and is not horizontally straight like the right servo.

Is this why I'm getting excessive backwards flight? As the servo's aren't level to start with. Even when I forward trim all the way the servo is still not quite level.

I haven't adjusted the 4 in 1 since I got it.

What should I be checking/adjusting to correct this?

Thanks for your help guys.

Actually, lengthening the control arm a few turns until the swash plate was level has fixed it.

Note to selves in case anyone else has this problem.

Hi,
before proceed these steps, put the all of your trims but the throttle to the center.

1- lenghten the left servo arm until the swash levelled horizontally

2- put the battery.. back to the cg of heli.

3- turn the knob on the 4 in 1 unit counter clockwise with little steps until the heli stops turning to the left. do not forget to disconnect battery while you are turning the knob.
