Default Spektrum receiver to GT5.2

I am new to FBL systems. I recently bought a TT E550 and a DX8. The E550 manual shows a connection from the GT5.2 to the servos, but I don't understand how to connect the AR8000 receiver to the GT5.2. I have the swash type as mentioned in several threads( single servo) and have chosen all options for the 140 degree swash on the GT5.2. The only type of receiver allowed to connect to in the GT5.2 is a standard one. The swash does not follow my stick movements, pitch is reversed, seems like elev and ail are mixed in with throttle and when sticks are idle, the servos continue to drift. Very frustrating making me feel like an idiot, this can't be rocket science, but I am stumped.

Anyone having a GT5.2 connected to Spektrum receiver, please help me out. Actually, I will take any advice right now,

Thank,
Rick

The 3 way plug goes single end into the term port, the other end with 3 plugs go into the RX.
The bottom ground or dark wire goes into the Pitch on RX, the middle wire goes into gain and the top wire goes into rudder on the RX.
Then aileron from the Rx goes to Imp2 and aileron goes to Imp1.
Then connect all the servos to the correct locations on the gyro.

Default GT5.2 FUBAR

Nope! Not even close! This is close to what the GT5.2 shows to connect to a std receiver.
I'm guessing you mean aux1 for pitch and gear for gain on receiver. You mention another aileron to plug into imp1, but I'm guessing you mean elevator?

In this configuration, transmitter acts like its in mode one, it isn't. Throttle/pitch stick movements act like elevator, aileron is ok, and elevator stick movements act like pitch.

Try rebinding with the "term" slot connected to the receiver, doesn't happen.

I get error messages when I try to select a spektrum receiver in the GT5.2.

Sorry, but your suggestions don't help at all, thanks for trying.

Yes I meant elevator in Imp1 and pitch is aux1 in the RX Spektrum.
I believe standard receiver is the choice you want.

Test pitch first and get all 3 servos going together up and down. Reverse any single servo that is not functioning correctly in the GT 5.2 servo reverse page. Servo 1 is right aileron, 2 is elevator and 3 is left aileron.

Thanks for your assistance, I will look on how to reverse servos on the GT5.2. Off hand, I dont recall seeing this option, but will look further.
Very frustrating for me, Thx for your patience.

2 more hours and I think we got it, thanks for the help Chuck from Anchorage House of Hobbies. Came in on his day off to help out. I think the GT5.2 did not accept my swash selection and we figured out a few other issues.
Thx so much Chuck!

Its mind boggling sometimes to try and figure all this stuff out. I asked the same questions in 2011.
Glad you have it sorted out man.
