I will be finishing the Pantera (or trying to) by Saturday. I planned to use a 611 on it.

for peoples info i've flown my quark on a trex 700....works perfectly. it is the same on the 450 pro i tried it on aswell.

i've got another quark coming to change both my 700's to quarks.

FYI the clear case is an optional extra which you can buy from dealers. the standard gyros will be black and metal which is in the finless video.

in mean time, my own quark on my 450 pro-

cheers

Put it on something you know. No point putting it on a new heli, if you're really going to tell us how you like the gyro, as an independent part.

Since you'll be all involved with the Pantera, dial it in with the 611, then swap in the Quark and give it the A/B before you forget what the 611 feels like.

Bob, I've been flying my Quark in my TREX 250, such a great match. But I'm building a Velocity 50 now, and I'll moving the Quark to it. I've heard it does just as well on the larger nitro birds, so I'm sure you can't go wrong either way. I'll let you know how it turns out for me.

Hi Bob,

I would try it on a 450 first, since that is a very prominent class for smaller-sized gyros.

Then I would test it on a 500-class electric, since that is a tricky class for gyros.

Last, but not least, on a 600N.

All prominent classes.

Thanks,
Frank

Angelos,

Is the new gyro better in any way than the 760 for 90 sized helis? I know it is primarily tergeting small helis. just curious.

I am very happy with my 760s by the way. It is hard to imagine things could be any better.

Angelos has already stated multiple times that both gyros are identical in capability and performance.

Whatever heli or helis it is tried on (seems a good idea to go small and large, so a 250SE and a 700 or 50 or 90 nitro) I would like comparisons with the Futabe GY520 vs the Quark on the same machines.....

yeah let's see the Quark on the 450Pro, compared to stock align gyro and 520. That would be very interesting.
