I am so getting one after seeing this footage. It look like it flips quicker than some larger birds out there. But for the guy in the 3rd video, it looks like he could have used some expo.

It was the official HH video that did it for me....just like the HH msr video!

It will be good to see more videos with pilots of varying skills

I hate to admit it but I can swallow my pride here and say this thing looks like it'll be pretty fun in the basement and at work in the warehouse. I know I've slammed them for their tail motors and I'm still not 100% convinced on this one but it should be alright until it takes a few hits like every other tail motor. I am probably going to end up beta test... Err, preordering this thing since it'll be $145+tax at the LHS after giftcard and 10% off for preordering. It's hard to talk myself out of it simply because my Dx6i will fly it.

Well in this size, there's yet to be anything but tail motors. It should be that way for quite a while.

Oh, I know why they went with the tail motor. It should work fine to a degree but I bet a lot of noobs will once again cry when the tail motor fails after bouncing off the ground over and over. How many complain about the MSR/120SR/SR tails but fail to mention how many times they crashed it. I like TT's myself for their performance and ease of setup but they don't take crashes well, then again I don't expect my helis to crash well, I set them up to FLY well, crashdamage is there to keep you within your abilities, unless you're rich. This isn't gonna nor could it replace my 125CP for my yardbird (although I want to sell my SR's and replace it with the M120D01) but it will be a good inside-only heli, which is as high as my expectations go.

Sick! Seeing the twitchiness makes me giddy, it also makes me think there's gonna be some unhappy customers out there, or maybe humbled is a better word.

That video is amazing (when we can see it!) the heli is far more dynamic than the HH video suggests

Looks like the tail blades (prop) spun on the shaft.

Hmmm....damage report?

he hit the tail on the ground and was too low to recover. All we did was pick it up and set it back on the ground and fly it again.

Well, all I can say is that the micros have come a long, long way!! I remember when the Pixelito came out

http://www.ubergizmo.com/2005/12/pix...rc-helicopter/

To have something (Fixed Pitched) that could easily sit in the palm of your hand and fly reasonably well was hopeful but out of reach for many at that time. Here we are now looking at a CP that can do way more for its size and weight than anyone could have ever hoped or dreamed of half a decade ago!! It may not rock at a hard-core 3D level, but you gotta admit - does pretty darned good for what's there!! I get a feeling that we are going to see some really great things to come that will surpass what we have only hoped or dreamed about. Also get the feelin that it's going to occur by leaps and bounds from here on out.

Wow, this thing looks like it is more acrobatic than I ever thought it would. VERY impressive.

I just hope flight times are at least 3 mins when doing "3d".

I noticed in the vid he said 3 to 3 and a half mins constantly doing manouvers.

I thought straight away, hhmmm, maybe 4 mins with my skill level

That then made me wonder if he's got his collective pitch D/R's maxed, and if it could be tamed down to reduce loading on the blade's, and if the heli woud still pop good enough, how can I tell how many mah's are going back into the li-po's or is there good enough built in low voltage cut-off. I just wish it was here already so I can try it for myself.

I actually feel giddy like a child again and we just broke up from school for christmas (The wait inbetween was always intolerable)

Couple more vids

Silly one
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2MMrSV_rw4[/ame]

(James flying)
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UaE9-MH6-_E&feature=player_embedded[/ame]

Apparently they had a prototype or an early "revision" that they were able to flip and maintain inverted hover about a year ago. So this heli has had some pretty decent R&D

Mine's preordered!
...Now if I can't fly it like the conference room vid I'm calling Horizon Support and I expect to be told "You're (intentional mispelling) problem Sir, is the nut behind the transmitter stick"

Have accurate expectations of what this can do thanks to many. Can't wait. Spek Quark 2s 4G6 is gonna be mad..."you don't spend much time with me anymore"...hehe.
