Default Can I just loctite it?

Go figure, slap on some radix blades and dump the bird...Anyways, is the manual says to "R-48" smaller blade grip bearing. Can I just use loctite?

Thanks

You dont need to loctite the bearings into the grips. It makes it VERY hard to remove them later on down the track, and they cannot fall out in normal use.

DONT use locktite to place the bearings in the grips.... SUPER pain in the butt later... These bearings do NOT rotate at high speed or even rotate a full 360 so this is NOT a place to use R48 or any other locktite! You will HATE it later when it comes time to replace the bearings.

Assiemick is RIGHT ON!

Doh! well it may be a little late for that now I dont remeber the bearings easily coming out, nor have tried, but the recent crash with new blades broke the spindle thus taking the grips with them. I reassembled the head by the manual and found the grip slides in and out on the bearings. Could I have bent the aluminum blade grips?

As long as the grip still has the shoulder just on the inside of the small inner bearing then they should be fine. All loads are out in flight but are more than a bit of loctite will be able to hold.

I see a shoulder or a race on the larger bearing side, but not one that prevents the smaller bearing from going all the way through. I tried to remove the bearings from the other grip to compare but couldnt, so is it time to buy new grips? BTW thanks everyone for helping out
