I have both X5 and X7. I fly X5 without GOV and it works superb! but the X7 without gov is different thing... At first i was running it with Scorpion 130A without gov and it bogged and overspeeded, batteries were hot too.
I bought Vbar and now I use Vbar´s GOV and that is amazingly good gov! No bogging and sagging. Amps are down because Vbar knows before hand whats coming so the motor wont bog and there is no huge amp spikes.
Regular gov adds more power when its "too late", motor is already bogged.

Im very happy with Vbar gov and X7. I have custom wound HK3-4035 and scorpion commander 130A V. After 4 mins hard 3D motor, esc and batteries are cool.
