Me and a friend (Wes) will be leaving my house in Hilliard at 9am at the latest. Should put us at the flying field around 11-11:30 depending on how many times we stop. I am one to not stop, but we will have to stop and pick up Wes' son on the way.

You still shooting for noon?

i am shooting for 11 if i run late for any reason ill be there by noon at the latest.. but ill probably be up early in the morning and get all my stuff ready and loaded so i should be there at 11

interesting sttuff happened when the sun came out.Lost a tail support rod bolt and had to land with it pointing down at the ground X5.
removed the rod.

did a pirouetting inverted circle!!!!!

Lost an elevator servo at the end of the flight.

landed with no elevator control

Danny hooked me up with a servo!!! and tail boom support rod!!!

WOW That's some interesting hardware failures! Too bad on the ESC on the Beast, it looked like a smooth flying little plane.

Any idea what happened to the elevator servo? None responsive at all?

The motor is going bad in his servos just like on my gaui tail servos that died. It stops working but if u put pressure on the servos it will work again and than stop working again.



It did not rain much, a few sprinkles here and there that did not last fore more than a few minutes

Flying Ryan's 7hv was fun. hopefully mine will be flying this week.

not sure Chris what exactly caused it.

prolly just a falure from the 340+ hard full collective from high speed BANGS!

if another servo goes out ever again it's gonna get some Aligns.....those will be plenty good.
