I'm sure you are frustrated, but resorting to name calling is never the right answer on helifreak. Please refrain from this kind of activity in the future.
Thanks

+1. They listen. After everyone put a solid carbon boom on the mCPX - Horizon Hobby got around to producing one of their own. The grommet mod was adopted on v2 mCPX and was put on the 130X from the outset.

I've only got 4 flights on mine and I can see wear on the A gear already. So 20 flights or so and that will have to be replaced. I am sure the fix for that will be by manufacturing it from a harder wearing plastic or swapping it out for the metal gear. Not sure yet if the metal gear might cause other issues. The A gear seems to be the issue most people are having. The repair videos have been shot and will be on HH site shortly. That will help us swap the gear out the first time and hopefully adjust the meshing correctly.

However, this thing flies great and that is what will make it a success. If it didn't fly well, no-one would work out the fixes. But it is an awesome little heli and the fixes will follow. I, for one, would be happy if all was perfect from the get-go but we are dealing with a relatively cheap mass produced consumer product so I think we all have to be realistic.

Between the users and HH which has always offered great customer service, the problems will be worked out.

Rick,

Sorry..that's just how I tend to respond when soemone calls me out as a lair...I'll watch myself in the future...

Thanks to my local hobby shop being a great bunch, and knowing the fact that I've really had a run of bad luck with these things so, far, I'll be going home to try number 3...hopefully, third time is the charm
